Today almost whole India’s eyes were fixed on television, crores of people were watching India Vs Pakistan Champions Trophy final match. OnePlus India used this golden chance to get the best from it. This is a real advertising strategy and surely a maximum percentage of viewer came across this ad but I don’t know how many of you noticed that OnePlus India has shown its latest flagship in the same Ad.
Ad goes something like Between the overs Bollywood Superstar Amitabh Bachchan was seen opening a briefcase and his first reaction was “Superb” and then asking “Launch 22June Ko hai na?” And then OnePlus 5 appears on screen in dim light. Looked like there was nothing to hide but at same time they were trying to hide something.
Ad reveals that as leaks suggested it will be a iPhone clone and will be exclusively available on Amazon. No doubt OnePlus flagships are quite good in performance in its segment but OnePlus could have done something unique in design segment as they launch just one flagship each year. OnePlus was tagged with a tagline “Dual Camera. Clearer Photos.” Below here it is a snapshot of the Ad which was on air today.
OnePlus is launching on 20th June but Indian launch is scheduled for 22nd July in Mumbai. For those who can visit in launch event, OnePlus is bringing it’s flagship smartphone near your city. OnePlus named this event as popup and OnePlus is popping in Delhi on 23rd, Bangalore & Chennai on 24th and in Hyderabad 25th. Let’s see what is there in OnePlus to surprise us, obviously we are seeking something unexpected. It’s expected with SD835 with 2 varients 6GB and 8GB RAM priced at 33k and 38k INR.
